The dry top wines of our winery: individual wines with strong character, but nevertheless charming.

The »Rote Hang« (red hillside next to Nierstein and the Rhine river) is one of the most famous and unique  Riesling sites of Germany. There are the vineyards of our three individual single vineyard wines.

The red wine Cuvée »S« is a blend out of the three grape varieties Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Dorsa. All three grape varieties grow separately in the best vineyard sites. After the harvest by hand the wine ripens in Barrique barrels for two years and becomes our best red wine!

Our wine town Nierstein is surrounded by two hills: One of them is the legendary »Rote Hang« (red hillside) with its unique red slate soil. It's the home of our Premium Riesling wines and thereof our village wine Riesling ROTER HANG. On the opposite side is the »Paterberg« with massive limestone. This white-yellow limestone is perfect for our Burgundy wines such as our Niersteiner Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc) or Niersteiner Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). Our village wines are authentic wines, that charm you with their individuality. The Paterberg is also home of our winery.

Our estate wines are typical representatives of the Rheinhessen wine region. Every grape variety has its own typical aroma and style. We want to present you their classy individuality with our estate wines.

The grapes for our sparkling wines grow the vineyards around Nierstein. We harvest only healthy grapes and press it gently. The second fermentation is a traditional bottle fermentation. This gives our sparkling wines  a very fine perlage and an individual character. Our sparklings are a must-have at every champagne reception.

The Secco is the "little" brother of the sparkling wines. It's a perfect aperitif or just for a casual occasion!
